The Hotel
The Swiss chalet-style house (photoimpression) is located at 1,100 metres altitude in a small village called Waltensburg. The hotel has spacious double and family rooms with their own bathroom (shower or bathtub, sink and toilet). Most of the rooms have a private balcony. Waltensburg was built on an “in-between” hill in the valley of the river the Rhine. The hotel is the highest located building in the village. The view to all sides is impressive. From the southward front side you look for miles over the valley of the Rhine. From the back you see “our own Alp” which is an excellent ski area in winter, and a bit further you see the village Andiast.
The “Clarezia-stube” is an attractive spacious room next to the sun terrace, where meals are served (only houseguests, no restaurant). The room looks out on the sunny patio. It is also a nice place to be and play a game, socialize with other guests or just read a book. Drinks are aviable at the bar all day long, self service. In front of the main building is a large south facing patio. For moments later in the afternoon there is a lovely terrace just round the corner. Many rooms have a balcony with chairs and a table, therefore these rooms are rather favourable. There is no extra charge for a balcony and reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. So you better be quick!
The annexe
Clarezia started in 1988 in the annexe (photoimpression). This homey and quiet house has its own intimate atmosphere. It has cosy single and double rooms and a few rooms for three persons. All rooms have a sink with hot and cold water. The four shared toilets and showers are in the short corridors. The annexe is situated just a bit lower than the main building. Its southward location offers a panoramic view on the Rhine valley.
In the annexe, just across the hotel, you will also find a living room, one dining room and a cupboard full of games. In the sunny backyard with views over the valley side, you'll find lounge chairs ready to relax, read a book or just do nothing. With adjoining balcony with a panoramic view on the valley. From the balcony the stairs bring you down to the enclosed garden with sun chairs. |
