Hotel Clarezia in Waltensburg is part of the Surselva or Rhine Valley. The location of the hotel on the highest point of the village provides an impressive view to all sides. From the front on the south is a wonderful kilometers far view over the Rhine Valley. The rear faces on the Alp Dado, what in winter, our ski resort is, and the further away village of Andiast.

The village itself is a small farming village, with almost as many stables as houses. A quiet area where people enjoy a simple an peaceful life. Munt Sogn Gieri is the largest fortivication that can be visited here and the oldest Benedictine Monastery of Switzerland is in Disentis. If there is still a lot of energy to be spent then there is the Greina: 6 km. long plateau of great beauty.
