During school holidays Clarezia is an ideal place for families and their children. The cosy family rooms in the Big House offer all the comfort you need and around the house there is plenty to do and to play for all family members. Children can climb, swing and slide on the playground, jump on our trampoline or play in our trees. Join in at table football or table tennis if you like a match. What makes more fun than sit and laugh together around the campfire? We have a nice place outside our terrace to make a campfire with view! Singing along, telling ghost stories, chatting of just silently looking at the fire. It is all included at Clarezia!
Clarezia’s wander programme is for every kind of wanderer. Every day our wander buses drive you to the most beautiful spots in the area. How about a picnic in lovely spots while watching marvellous views alongside a mumuring mountain stream? We choose a nice spot and bring everything we need for a picnic. Enjoy playing in and around the water, try to build a dam to move the stream into a different pattern. And when everyone is tired, the campfire is burning and there are sausages and dough for bread rolls waiting. Just find yourself a stick and (let someone help you) sharpen it with your pocketknife...
You can choose from several routes at different levels. Less experienced wanderers might prefer the wide paths with magnificent views over the green slopes and high peaks behind them. For those who like to go higher, there are more demanding mountain trails. In the summer holiday period there will be guided multi-day walks every week, if there are enough participants. Volunteers with sufficient skills and experience keep an eye on activities in the day time and after dinner games for young and old such as scavenger-hunts and sports.
Swimming is also possible; go for a dip in mountain lakes, warm fenland pools, the open air swimming pool in Ilanz provided with a diving high-board. Even paddling in the Rhine or a lake with recreation gound for the young kids is not far away. So we invite you to make your choice for a refreshing dive! Remember to bring your trunks.
